For anyone interested, there are enchantment color enhancement and de-enhancement plugins over at Morrowind Summit. They are by Evil Sorcerer. I haven't tried either of them, but apparently the enhancer is suppose to fix some of the colors so they look better (deeper reds, better greens, etc) while the de-enhancer is suppose to reduce the strength of the color so the underlying textures of enchanted objects are easier to see. These mods give you some options in case you don't like the colors (or think they could be better).
Personally, I love the colored enchantments on weapons, but find the armor/robes to be rather nasty/plastic looking. I also don't care for white enchantments and think that some of the colors really clash with the colors of the enchanted object. Whenever I get around to it, I'll probably try both of these mods and see which I like best.
Have a good day

what are daedric stuff made out of?
Forsythe on 14/4/2003 at 23:12
Hrm... IIRC, Daedric weapons are made of the solidified souls of Daedra. Couldn't tell you where I read that, but it was probably while talking with an armorer.

My char wears Boots of the Apostle, and they are PINK. I hate that pink. It just isn't cool on an adventuring amazon.

Just make an constant effect blind enchantment and you won't have to see them:eek:

I ran into that problem too.. After reinstalling all textures, etc. (screwing up several of my mods!)I figured out that the noglow mod (or some other mod)installed dds files into the "Data Files\Textures\magicitem" folder. There should ONLY be TGA files in there. Delete the dds files and (re)copy over the TGA files from the "Data Files\Textures\magicitem" folder on the 2nd cd. Problem solved (hopefully)!
