Okay, so there's only 3 GB of space available for an expansion pack but my point still stands: "Fucked by XBox once more" is just bullshit.

Okay, so the point is that there WOULD be room to release a new version with expansion pack(s) included. That's definitely good news

Nooo, I'm not giving up that easy. Would there be room for TWO expansions, like they did for Tribunal and Bloodmoon? WITH RECORDED DIALOGUE. No way! Fucked by MS I say! Though maybe the dick'll be a bit smaller.

I tried a console, a PS2, for the very first time a month or so ago. (I've gotten my niece into Thief, hooked her with LotP, heh--she LOVES that level--then got her into editing with Dromed). Anyway, SHE tries to get me to play her favorite PS2 games with her and damn if I just can't get the hang of the controller. My little guy bumps into walls, runs around in circles, dies constantly. I yell and she just laughs. Those controllers, I just don't see how anyone can do anything with them.
I've sometimes thought about getting a console. PC games just keep getting suckier and suckier and I find myself buying fewer and fewer of them. I can't really justify upgrading my computer anymore. I haven't so far because I have my doubts I'll ever get used to a controller.

Noobert McNoobNoob is currently indisposed.
In my opinion, not releasing an expansion is pretty ludicrous. Bethesda wants money. It's not as money hungry as other devs, but Bethesda still wants some. With a game which got such fantastic scores all over, an expansion would be a logical step to make more money--especially considering more people will be able to play Oblivion in a year's time and the expansion will be a good way to get publicity again.
Whatever the deal with the 360 is, they'll work it out. It may be the 360 won't have an expansion. Originally the XBox version of Morrowind wasn't even supposed to include the expansions either, but it sold so well they did.
Microsoft may control the 360, but it doesn't control Bethesda's PC marketing division. If they want just a PC expansion due to crap from the 360, they're allowed to do it.

I had a whole thing but decided to just give it a rest. All I'll say is: You poor naive fool.

I'm with Ryushi on this one. An expansion in a year or 18 months would be perfect, and would sell a lot more copies of Oblivion at that point as well as the expansion. And do people really actually think Microsoft somehow controls all other companies???

OF COURSE THEY DO YOU POOR NAIVE FOOL! DON'T FORGET THE NSAKEY! AND THE CIA BONZI BUDDY! ASIAN GANGSTERS ARE COLLABORATING WITH THE YARDIES IN MANCHESTER TO CONTROL THE COMPUTER MARKET! THE MOON LANDINGS WERE MADE IN PETER MOLYNEUX'S "THE MOVIES"!
