Why remake everything ffs? Just goes on and on.
Because many people in Hollywood are not smart or creative enough to come up with their own ideas, and they want to mooch of a recognized name. Its not all different from the dominance of sequels in the game industry.
edit: I have no idea why did that when I used the "reply with quote" button.

*ba-dum tishh*Thank you, I'll be here all week.
You know that I deliberately set that up for you, right?

Creepy old guys watching young girls is more likely.

Before you watch it, please note that it has only been approved for
appropriate audiences, so if you're not, kindly get the fuck out.
So, I guess that means most of TTLG can't watch it.

Hell, it means I couldn't watch it and I did anyway. What is an appropriate audience anyway?
BrokenArts on 7/3/2010 at 05:51
I have no idea, and could care less. I'll pass on that one. I'd rather go see *The Crazies* with the crazies from here.

Because the acting's going to make a big difference? I'm not particularly interested in this film, but if there's anything that might make me interested, it's Jackie Earle Haley.
Yeah, but in the original Freddy isn't so much a character as a creature of nightmare with no real rhyme or reason for being until the mother reveals all towards the end. Exploring Freddy as a character will do nothing but shrink his scale of terror, I reckon. All in all, it looks utterly uninspired.

It is utterly uninspired. There's no need for a remake when the original hasn't dated all that badly. And yes, making Freddy more human is a rather witless script decision.
@BArts: Lighten up a bit, lady. I was joshin' around with the OP. :D

Oh Sulphur, I know that, I was doing the same thing. ;)

Apart from the blow up doll being pulled through the window.
