You're done because you've flipped out. I'm suggesting tighter gun laws, not a total ban on all guns for everyone but the police.

I think it's pretty insulting that unless we're government employees, you feel we're too immature and stupid to behave responsibly with firearms.
I never said this but I do think it dangerous to give a gun to a person who so easily jumps to the wrong conclusion.

You may not choose to step outside of your echo chamber, but tighter laws in firearms have only resulted in a higher crime rate here in the US. (

People die all the time, from all sorts of different things. It's not that unusual or cruel to me, so I really don't think much of it. If it's alive it must eventually die. I accept this and understand it. I don't live my life terrified of everything like some of you folks seem to. Maybe that's why I've never had ulcers.

You know why Freddy Kruger isn't around much these day? Probably because all the kids now dream about guns.
DarkThiefsie on 21/2/2008 at 04:49
Perhaps the issue is:
What can the government do to control Crime rather than gun control?

Again with the general term "crime rate". Some might say an overall increase in crime is worth a drop in murders.
I'm 2 post away from dethtoll going PEOPLE WILL KILL EACH OTHER JUST AS MUCH WITH FROZEN VEGETABLES RARGH so I'll just say that if tighter laws in firearms have been shown to mean more deaths too then fair enough. I just think people get a bit lazy about interpreting statistics as best fits their ideology. And you've got to consider other stuff, like was crime raising anyway and would it have gone up *even more* without the gun ban?
