Only if they're true friends.

If there's one thing videogames have taught me, it's not to let sick people lick you.

Has anyone played Doom on Switch yet? I bought the PC version on sale a while ago, but I haven't touched the PC in months, I guess because my only monitor is currently set up in the living room as a TV for the Switch. I might even buy Doom again just for the convenience (plus apparently it has gyro aiming now, which I thought worked great in Zelda).
p.s. ARMS is still wonderful and everyone should buy it. I finally tried the online modes, and while the ranked matches are a little intimidating for me, the unranked party mode is possibly the best way to play the game. Basically it just takes a lobby full of people and scrambles them up in all the different game modes - some competitive, some cooperative - and scales your health to match your win streak, so it keeps things balanced and is rarely frustrating.

I'm trying really hard not to rebuy things on Switch that I already own on other platforms. I'd love to have indies like Hyperlight and Owlboy and Night in the Woods and Stardew and some others as well. I'll probably fail when it comes to Hollow Knight. Another debate - Skyrim. I think it would be a lot of fun to own it on the Switch, and there's decent parts of the game that I haven't experienced yet, so it's not like it's all a rehash.
ARMS is a possibility, but I'd prefer to pick it up used and not pay the full 60.

I'm tempted to buy Doom, but considering I've already played it to hell and back (olol) on the PC, I have no interest picking it up at full price just to have a copy on the go. It'll be something I grab when it's at least 50% off its current full price.
Skyrim is another story, though. I haven't beat the game on the PC. Might only have 30-45 hours clocked in altogether. I might consider grabbing it for the Switch at some point here in the near future.

Yeah, and since when do games cost $80?? I think Super Nintendo games back in the day maybe used to go for that, but last gen it was always $50-$60 (Canadian). I have a hard time paying $80 for all my new games, especially when PC is so much cheaper. I've actually tried to stop buying indie games on PC, though, in the hope that they'll come out on Switch since I'm much more likely to play them there. And Skyrim's tempting, but in my experience games I've put hundreds of hours in tend not to hold my interest in second playthroughs. I should probably *not* buy Dark Souls then, but...
