Awesome. It's about time he did a pile of instrumentals. I've always been very fond of Reznor's music, but with few exceptions his lyrics are horrible. I kinda wish he had done something like this 10 years ago.

I just haven't got round to it yet. I only started to appreciate Reznor when I discovered my wife just happened to have a copy tucked away somewhere. I didn't realise there was such an electronic influence and was quite surprised at what i was hearing.
Did you think it was metal or something? Some of it is fairly metalish but for the most part it's not really.
DLing the first part of Ghosts. This has made me want to give Year Zero another go. Last time I tried I was distracted by the frankly wonderful CSS album.

Groovy.
I can't wait to get my hands on the CDs.

Giving the first part a spin. Nothing quakeish so far, but I'm not disappointed either. N'Al, does remind me of Aphex too.

Yeah. They should totally get together and have kids. Trent and Richard that is.

Already did, actually. At the Heart of It All and The Beauty of Being Numb (Section B), on Further Down the Spiral.

Trent didn't actually have anything to do with either track, tho. RDJ had never heard NIN and just composed a few pieces that sounded like what he'd imagine a band called NIN would sound like.
Ghosts is awesome, but I don't really see too many similarities between it and SAW2. Unless I missed the parts of SAW2 where it just devolved into a Machinedrum loop and dissonant power chords.

Listening to the first part atm.
Am liking it so far, but I wonder whether 36 tracks won't just be a tad too over-indulgent. We'll see...
They are mostly pretty short - under 3 minutes, so the total duartion is only about 2 hours. It changes texture fairly regularly.

There's also two remixes of NIN songs on
26 Remixes for Cash, but again,
