In my opinion, Gold has the best Gold to Weight Ratio. 1 G = 0lbs. 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 = 0lbs. I'm pretty much saying, just sell everything you don't want and keep the rest in storage. There's hardly a limited amount of space for it all.

Gems have the best gold to weight ratio besides gold, like 0.1 weight 200 value.

Yeah, the only place I've seen random, 'found' corpses carry good armor (specifically, the high-end Nordic armor w/ 206 armor pts) is in Bloodmoon.
