Can anyone refer me to some ultra-spiffolicius plugins? I mean the kind that won't crash your computer and wipe out your hard drive. Ones that are really worth playing and/or add true value to the game. Also, links would be nice. Oh, yeah and a million dollars too!:cheeky:

I'm not exactly an authority and am not very far into my first run through, but some of the plugins that I have really dug so far are the marksman mod (which adds alot of new bows, crossbows, arrows (with lots of diff. effects), throwing stars, etc....may be just slightly unbalancing), vivec expansion (which adds pretty extensive slums to the canals of vivec...way cool), and haldenshore (which adds a new town near seyda neen that is being infiltrated by the thieves guild...fun if you play a thief). You can get all of them at Morrowind Summit.
Oh, also try doing a search or looking through the archives....I know that a similar topic was up not too long ago (try the official site boards too...do a search in the mods forum for "mods often overlooked" and a great, long thread about awesome, but lesser known plugins will come up).

Dracandros Voice 2.68
Vivec Expansion 1.1
Vivec Abode 0.927
Atmospheric Sound Effects 3.0 Update 3
More Trees and Foliage 1.1
Freelancer 1.1
Juniper's Twin Lamps 1.1
Multiple Teleport Marking 1.227
Morrowind Advanced
Walled City of Balmora
...and official plugins...
Area Effect Arrows
Master Index
...of course, half of these are completely and utterly useless without Tribunal.

I am one of those people who found the enchanment colour effect on items rather too jarring and bright (When you finally do find that ultra-cool piece of enchanted armour, you can't even see what it looks like because of the enchantment texture)
So one of the first plugins I downloaded was a "No-Glo" plugin. However, this creates an even worse problem - the enchantment glow effect is completely gone, and it is impossible to tell whether an item is enchanted or not (at least, not by looking at it) I endured with the No-Glo plugin for a while, but ultimately a new plugin was released which solved my problem - it's called the Enchantment Colour De-Enhancer (can't remember the author right now)
It reduces the glow effect on items, so it's possible to see the item texture, but does not eliminate it, meaning you can still see the item. It's a tiny download, and I would definately recommend it. Also, the author also has a number of other plugins relating to enchantment and spell VFX, including one that does the exact opposite (Enchantment Colour Enhancer)
