he was a big wanker whose ego was way overfed by this place
Yeah, but he was also amusing as hell.
Sometimes.

And bring back Monkeysee too while you're at it.
I'm going to echo this one. Monkeysee's knowledge was the stuff of legends.

I want Wyclef back
Yeah, he's on the short list as well. Also: Azal, ignatios, and meaningful yet lighthearted discussion.
edit: oh wait, looks like his birthday thread lured ignatios back

Can't we just fit these guys with explosive collars that detonate if they don't log in at least once a fortnight? I think on balance it's justified.

I'd say that it's only natural that the community has evolved over the years. One way to see it is that this forum lost its appeal to those who left, yet another perspective is that those who remain have adapted.

I didn't mean it that way at all. I'm just saying that it's difficult to keep yourself from growing out of something as you get older.

Paz is probably busy writing and stuff.
I think "busy" might be a stretch, but yeah.
It felt like I was taking too much time out of my day to call dickheads, dickheads. Which is silly really, because I can just lurk and do the same thing.

Oh please, I'm not going to sit here while you all give Noid credit for "growing out" of TTLG. The rest of us are growing older and hopefully wiser, too, and we manage to endure it. He left in a childish fashion, making as big a dramatic deal out of it as he could. There's nothing mature about that.
but yeah, he's missed.
