Nibani Maesa doesn't think I've done the Third Trial (spoily) - by Emperor-Spleen

I've got the Moon-and-Star ring, been named Hortator of all three houses, Nerevarine of all four tribes, and even visited Vivec by now, but when I ask Nibani Maesa for 'My judgement' she still tells me to come back after I've done the Third Trial - even though she's still given me enough advice to complete the next two trials and start the sixth by asking about them directly.
I could probably safely ignore it, but it's an annoying loose end. I've actually told both her and Sul-Matuul what happened in the Cavern of the Incarnate by talking about 'Third trial', and Sul-Matuul has told me (by talking about 'Moon-and-Star') that the ring means I am definitely Nerevar, but it didn't do anything. Have I missed anything out?

Nah, if Vivec will speak to you about DU, you're cool; the dialogue just gets a little eccentric near the end. Ignore it. ;)

Where is Sul-Matuul to be found, please? The wise woman just mentions his name with no clue about where to find him.

Thanks Forsythe.

Don't worry, I couldn't remember that either.

Hehe, thanks, I've always been terrible with names. In fact I've been playing this for a week and I couldn't name one NPC from memory. Maybe it's because of all the weird spellings.
Forsythe on 13/11/2002 at 17:17
Believe it or not, but you do pick it up eventually; there's a sort of feel to how they're spelled.

Yeah, I suppose - just like all the spelling in LoTR were distinct for different regions of Middle-Earth. BTW, I'm beginning to notice that the main plot of this is a lot like LoTR - Sauron in Mordor is replaced by Dagoth Ur in Red mountain, the 'ring' which turned a once good guy into an unrepentant figure of pure evil is replaced by the 'tools'. I'm just taking a wild guess that I'll end up treking to Red mountain like Frodo and Sam in a big showdown for the inevitable good Vs evil finale. What would[/] fantasy RPG makers do if LoTR had never been written)

Copy one of the stories it borrowed from, of course ;)

It is a fairly classic storyline, or rather two blended; the "evil guy over there which lone hero must fight" story and the "power corrupts" parable...
