So, If there is magic, it won't be immersive? Any high fantasy novels, movies and games are unimmersive because people can't suspend their disbelief, and they can't adapt into that world, they can't feel a character in that world because they lack of imagination. So we should give them high resolution textures and hands.
What an insult!

"If I can't relate to this table, this table is out of proportion, it's going to break - it's like, I'm in a game again."
Couldn't wrap his mind around Little Big World either, evidently.

I think you're insulted by something you just made up. That's, err, pretty special.

So they want to tone down the magic and mysticism, but let Garrett keep his artificial eye. I wonder if as a reboot he starts with both his own eyes, and later shows different circumstances for losing an eye than the original did. Because in TDP, the events that lead to him losing his eye were entirely under mystical and magical circumstances. The "person" who plucked it out wasn't exactly an ordinary human.

Another good point, TMC. We need more information.

We were shown the long-in-development Thief demo at the Game Developers Conference last month, and noted both the game's impressive technology and curious design choices.
Footage from the demo was originally intended to be shared with the public, but a source says those plans were recently scrapped due to internal unhappiness with the quality of the captured footage.

Hah. I called every single bit of info that "source" provided the writer.
I wish we could see all the different iterations that the Thief prototype went through.
