I'm pretty new to PC gaming so I have a question. I just recently purchased Thief 2(yeah, a bit behind the times) I just downloaded the V1.19 patch to my desktop. How and where do I install it to make sure that it will work? Thanks for the help

Guys do you have a solution for the gamma problem? I'm on a Mac running the game with Wine, everything works beautifully but I can't modify the gamma!

edit cam_ext.cfg with notepad+ or similar and uncomment (remove ; from the beginning of) the d3d_disp_no_rgb10_buf line.

Thanks for the tip, unfortunately nothing changes, I also tried that together with d3d_disp_sw_cc but if I enable it I can only see a black screen "in game" while the menus work fine and are gamma sensitive!

no, because Tafferpatcher does everything for you, including the 1.19 installation - that's kind of the point, to have one click-fix everything package.

My apologies. I thought that patch that was found in that french forum was a whole different thing. I installed it I believe. My question is, for instance, in the beginning of the game when you run up to the gate the keyholes are a bundled mess. Is this v1.19 supposed to make it look clearer or does some other mod do it. Or is stuff like that just gong to stay that way
