Anyone having major issues with 4 player multiplayer in System Shock 2?

I actually just had that bug...two days before 1.19 came out. So no, it's unrelated.
Thanks! I tried installing tafferpatcher (1.03 beta) and then 1.19 again over it and it now works (maybe because the hammer model changed?).

Tafferpatcher installs fixed missions, so if something was broken, there is a good chance it's fixed now.

yeah, multiplayer seems to be broken in 2.4 - hard to say whether less or more than in 2.3 (seems like more players make it worse).

Loving this. I just bought the thief pack on steam to show my support even though I doubt I will ever play thief3 again I can always download thief gold and thief2 from now on.
Cant thank whoever did this enough.
I am playing Thief Gold through on my widescreen monitor at 1080p and it looks good :)
Thank YOU!

It's probably been discussed, but with the new patches is there still any need for (or benefit in) using the fan fixes that have been making the rounds (other than those that change the base resources, e.g. textures)?
voodoo47 on 7/10/2012 at 10:53
texture, model and other resource fixes are not obsoleted by the new patch in any way. a hand model with a missing finger will still load as a hand model with missing finger, no matter whether you are running 1.18 or 1.19, and you will still need a fixed model to solve the issue.
NewDark obsoletes all and any exe hacks that fix rendering or stability issues, such as ddfix. those are not required (or compatible, for that matter) anymore.

Hey, long-time resident, almost as long-time absentee, here...
Soooo, what's new? ;)
I heard there was something "new" and decided to come check it out. Nightwalker was kind enough to send me an email to let me know that "big things" were stirring once more in Thief-y Land. And indeed, this looks huge. I just recently bought another copy of Thief (Gold and 2) on Steam, and now I think I've got at least 3 retail CD copies of the game, if not 4, 2 digital copies through Steam, another through GOG (or similar). Yeah, I know, it's an excess, but I wanted to insure (ensure?) that I always had a copy of the greatest game ever created in my library. I think I currently have T2 and Dromed installed on 3 different machines at the moment, and I have glanced somewhat forlornly at my custom FM folder a few times over the past few years, wondering if I would ever want to start editing again. The old 1024 poly limit reared its ugly head way too prematurely in several FMs I was working on, and I just gave it all up... :(
Now, this is huge. It's bigger than 'big', it's freakin' ginormous!! Is it truly real? I'm not dreaming? Is it working for pretty much everyone, without problems? Except for a few minor hiccups, right?
I haven't been this excited about Thief in a long time. Now, with Dishonored coming out in 2 days, the excitement is really compounded.
On a related note: since I've recently gotten back in the spirit, which FMs of the last say, 3 years would you recommend I play to "catch back up"?

You could have a look (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=138745) here. It takes you up to 2011. I'll have to have a think about this year.
The best thing for me about this is all the names I'm seeing here again and it makes me hopeful that Dromedders who got frustrated by the limits and stopped, will feel it's worthwhile getting back into it.

Yes...A dream has become reality...:)
