Hi, just started playing and I got up to the tavern, talked to the goblin I freed from prison BEFORE I killed the sleeping goblin and got the unsigned authorization papers. As I understand it I need to get the papers signed by the tavern goblin, but when I went back there he won't even get into a conversation with me. Am I stuck? Is there another way to either get the papers signed or get past the guard goblins without the authorzation papers? Or do I need to start over?

I think you found a bug.
All I can suggest is go back to a save game from before you talked to the friendly Goblin if you have one. I was following the walkthrough so I didn't have that problem.

you can give 300 or 400 gold and gem dealer lisence to the goblin guarding the second level or atack a goblin-any goblin downstairs and run to the goblins guarding the second level.they will open gate and atak you.:p

Sorry I haven't checked back on this. No sooner did I head back to the game and I figured it out. All I did was combine the unsigned letter with the goblin in the tavern and he signed it. Thanks for the help.
