Hey everyone. I just started experimenting with the editor tonight. I edited with DromEd for about 3 years, but never released anything because I kept switching projects and none of them ever really went anywhere.
I was having trouble with some lighting on this new editor though. I've been going through the tutorials for the engine, but obviously some things are different in here than they are for the unreal tutorials. So, I've inserted some torches into my level, but none of them are lit and they give off no light. How do I add fire to them and make them actually work, or is there a tutorial someone can point me to? Thanks.

Ok, i inserted a torch actor and now it works...but is there a way to use the torch models in the static meshes and put a light on them? Cause this torch is just the generic kind.

You should be able to view several different types of torches in the actor browser. You can also add a static mesh and then add light properties to it, but it's a lot easier to do pre-built torches from the actor class.
