And that second one would be a 20 y.o. cask strength Talisker, bottle #2095 of the 2002 American release. Probably my favorite whisky currently open in my bar.
Now you're just trying to make me feel guilty about throwing it all up on Saturday morning. :(
The remainder of my pics are pretty much just me wandering around doing touristy shit by myself, so no lengthy details about my adventures, and I'll throw it all up (haha) in this post.
Saturday was 'OMFG, hangover,' waking up to vomit, breakfast with Stitch, more vomiting, (

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f213/Fafhrd42/New%20York%20Photogasm/Saturday/Saturday%20Night/DSC_0124.jpg) the Dark Room (combination of hangover, low blood sugar, and just generally not feeling the vibe of the place led to just one pic by me there), and me trying to get a good shot of the (

Sunday was: Brunch with the fellas, farewell to Stitch, (
http://s48.photobucket.com/albums/f213/Fafhrd42/New%20York%20Photogasm/Sunday/Central%20Park/) Central Park (many of those I plan to stitch together into panoramic shots), (
http://s48.photobucket.com/albums/f213/Fafhrd42/New%20York%20Photogasm/Sunday/Grand%20Central%20Station%20Int/) Grand Central Station (Interior), and (
http://s48.photobucket.com/albums/f213/Fafhrd42/New%20York%20Photogasm/Sunday/Brooklyn%20Bridge%20at%20Sunset/) the Brooklyn Bridge at Sunset. It is practically impossible to take a good long-ish exposure low-light shot from the pedestrian walkway on the Brooklyn Bridge. Even setting my camera on the railing and triggering it with the remote didn't really work. I do kind of love (
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f213/Fafhrd42/New%20York%20Photogasm/Sunday/Brooklyn%20Bridge%20at%20Sunset/DSC_0212.jpg) this shot, though.
Monday opened with me deciding to do some laundry, resulting in my one true 'New York' Moment: While sitting in the laundromat, generally exhausted and waiting for the wash to finish, this little old lady walks in, looks at me and says 'You look *bluh* tired!' 'A bit,' says I. Lady says hello to guy at counter, heads out, pats me on the shoulder 'Have a couple of beers, you'll feel better!' walks out the door, stops, turns back 'I'M HITTIN' ATLANTIC CITY IN A HELICOPTER WITH A BOTTLE A SCOTCH!'
After that: much more directionless wandering that included: (
http://s48.photobucket.com/albums/f213/Fafhrd42/New%20York%20Photogasm/Monday/Chrysler%20Building%20and%20Grand%20Central/) The Chrysler Building and Grand Central (exterior), (

http://s48.photobucket.com/albums/f213/Fafhrd42/New%20York%20Photogasm/Monday/Library%20and%20Times%20Square/) the Library and Times Square (we never did go to the library and stack books in a manner that no human would), (
http://s48.photobucket.com/albums/f213/Fafhrd42/New%20York%20Photogasm/Monday/Madison%20Square%20Park%20and%20East%20Village/) Madison Square Park (again) and Tompkins Square Park in the East Village, culminating in a trip to the (
http://s48.photobucket.com/albums/f213/Fafhrd42/New%20York%20Photogasm/Monday/Empire%20State%20Observation%20Deck/) 86th Floor Observation Deck of the Empire State Building. After that met RBJ and RBJGF and RBJGF's Cousin at Death and Company (very much my kind of place, despite the prices. Laid back speakeasy-esque designer drinks lounge. Could've gone in my Friday night garb and pretended to be a bartender there) in the East Village for a couple of drinks.
Tuesday morning was MASSIVE FUCKING THUNDERSTORM at 3 am and flight home delayed 'til 12:30pm.
All in all: Hell of a trip. Really nice city, but I don't think I could live there. Something about there just being
more city everywhere you look is kind of freaky and exhausting to me. (I'm more used to (
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f213/Fafhrd42/DSC_0039.jpg) this). I wish I could've handled Saturday better, but generally I need about 14 hours of sleep after alcohol induced vomiting, and I wasn't able to get anywhere near that.
Next time we do L.A.

I started sorting through my photos last night and the majority of them are almost accursedly free of anyone from the meet so I'm not going to have much to add in that respect unfortunately.
Also, I recognise that my (relative) silence during and after the meet is somewhat uncharacteristic but rest assured that I had a hell of a time, but I'm unlikely to be prattling on about it in great detail.

Give it a kiss to make it better then, Turtlesoup.
All in all, sounds like everyone had a great time. I do miss the Big Apple :)
