Wow this sucks. Maybe you can turn it around and say your truck hit a land mine in Iraq or something.

Actually, my wife got rear-ended a few years ago (let me clarify that this was by a car) and it smashed her up good. Whiplash, facial lacerations, etc. The girl behind her was on a cell phone and never even hit the brakes either. She hit my wife so hard that our car actually hit the truck in front of it which then hit the car in front of it.
I HOPE IT WAS AN IMPORTANT FUCKING CONVERSATION.

So did you get her information and such?
theBlackman on 13/1/2007 at 08:26
Full information, called her insurance company, had a adjuster out, got a free rental car for a week, and am waiting for the haggling to begin.
Meantime, I pulled the spring shackle down, used a jack to straighten out the RR corner, and am driving the beast.
She crunched the bed and bumper, but did not spring the frame or really damage the drivability of the vehicle. Just gave me a "Custom by Crash" redesign.
So I am covered (within limits -they might try to "total" me out) but she had no collision insurance for her own car, so her 1999 BMW 528i is junk.
Not to be vindictive, but that pleases me.
