(
http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2013/05/23/surprise-msoft-not-keen-on-porting-xbox-one-exclusives/) Does this mean it may not come to PC at all? Not really able to suss out what's going on here with the term "launched on XBox One" being thrown around and the seemingly disdain for ports among the suits at MS.
Edit: N/m - that article pertains to XBox Exclusives, which T4 is not. I'll leave this here in case this has any implications for T4, but if it doesn't, just skip the post.

I've seen it pointed out that the new xbox and playstation make game development for multiple platforms a lot easier, because of the similar processor architecture. In this light, I think, EMs decision for only next gen consoles seems rather promising for the pc version than dangerous.

Except they only recently started work on the next-gen version, upgrading now what they already had to the next level, but only in detail, not content, after all these years of development. They've said they were giving the PC the priority, but that remains to be seen. If the PC version gives the player PC control over their game, then it'll matter in discussions, if not, it's hot air.

Similar? They're almost exactly the same. Both are x86 AMD processors with 8GB ram. About the only differentiating factor will be the GPU. Hell, the Xbox is even using the Win8 kernel to drive the OS. It's a PC in everything but name (and perks).
As close as they are, I don't even think developers will have to recompile their code to get their games working on both the Xbox One and Windows.

The past never existed! The future starts...riiiiiggghht...
...NOW!
XBOX ONE "Adding confusion to future conversations", ought to be the tagline...If we're lucky, EM will call their creation just THIEF, without subtitle, like the Star Trek reboot...This way, we will have THIEF on the XBOX ONE.

The past never existed!!
It is strange when compared to the new Might and Magic game. Being the absolute and indisputable masterpiece that it is in the history of video gaming, you would think that EM would be hailing The Dark Project at every turn and getting in touch with the actual fans of the series!
Strange things are afoot. I...I'm worried. :erm:

Look! A veritable dragon's hoard of treasure! A veritable Fort Knox! Leave it be, we can't begin to handle that!

It even looks like a cable box.
