...I also tried to add some of the decorative helmets and compensate their different pivots (or whatever) by rotation and normal offset values, but it didn't do anything. Is there simply no way to change it or have I just used the wrong values?...
Yes, you use wrong values. For all kinds of rotation just use values like
5 000 or
15 000 or some like that. Rotation for 360 degrees needs a value about
35 000 if I remember correct.

Thanks for that information, Tiens.

That's something for people with patience (or nothing to do). It seems like one value changes all the others, especially when I think I'm getting close. Plus, the pot helmet doesn't have any slits for the eyes, so it wouldn't work properly anyway (although it wouldn't be such a big issue I guess).
So I just make a sergeant with a barbuta, knee and shoulder pads, the ridiculously small chest plate and... well... nothing else. Looks like a very poor knight. :erg:
Edit: Pictures! Oh, and although I'm a fan of historical stuff, I could not resist to give him some (

This staff works perfect for me. And I think NPCs in TDS don't need eyes to see. My warrior had the pot helmet on his head but attacked me very successfully.

Oh, please share your values then. :p With "work properly" I just meant that it would look unnatural.
