Where are people seeing that bug? I was looking for it constantly after Quinn's review, but never noticed anything like that.

* Mojave Outpost (was fixed in the Community compilation patch by adding typewriters and terminals to desks, LOL.)
* Fort McCarran

This mod fixes an annoyance I found in the Mojave Outpost HQ where NPCs would sit down at a desk and start typing, when there was nothing there to type on. This is due to the
fact that the chairs that were placed at the desks have built in placeholders for terminals or typewriters to be placed, and when an npc sits on one of these chairs they automatically assume that a typing implement has been placed at this location and they begin the typing animation. You could place a chair in the middle of the desert, without a desk, and they would still start typing if they sat on it. (Believe me, I did just that. Was quite amusing.) Anyways, I'm sure there are numerous instances of this issue occurring throughout the game, and I think it is kind of lazy on Obsidian and Bethesda's part. They needed to make two different office chairs, one with the placeholder and one without. But I understand the enormous time constraints attached to games, and not much time is allotted to the creation of non-gameplay assets. Had they made two different office chairs, it would have been much easier and quicker to fix this issue, as I could just replace the chairs. I'm sure they didn't really even think about this when placing the chairs. Most places where these chairs are located are abandoned offices with no NPCs around to sit in them, so the issue likely never came up. It's just that the Mojave Outpost has so many NPCs all looking for somewhere to sit, the issue comes up quite frequently.

I started taking screenshots for this thread and when I was done I'd accumulated about a thousand pictures. So I picked out the best ones, compiled them into a video, and added a Tom Waits song to go with it. When it was all done it was so goddamn beautiful I cried a little bit and upload it in 720P HD.
Without further ado, I present... (

fallout 3 faces and bodies are auto generated by some 3rd party module bethesda buys if anyone was wondering why they look so terrible.
