That's excellent. I don't have time to look at the code at the moment but are you generating the 3D objects from the information in the executable or have you reconstructed them?

The models are parsed directly from the .exe file.
I'm reusing the model decoder from UWAdv (which was a bit incomplete and buggy). A few bits of information about the model format also came from the TSSHP codebase.
PS: I noticed that the TSSHP code has quite a few stuff in it which was never documented in their uw-specs.txt. I'm going to update the uw-formats.txt in the abysmal SVN when I stumble across something in the TSSHP code.

You might not be getting many replies in this thread, but I'm sure you've got more than a few people all silently interested in what's going on here.
Looks great so far. Keep it up. :thumb:

Too true.
Some great progress. Good to see that this project is still maintaining its momentum.

Just dropping by to say, that I am another one who appreciates this effort to make Ultima Underworld playable in a new engine. Your work looks great so far. Keep it up! :)

Good to see that there are still a few people interested in the old Underworlds :-)
I was thinking about putting out a pre-pre-alpha binary release in next few days or weeks, so stay tuned.
