Morning Raf =)
So tell us computer geeks about the character classes that Arx will Boast. I am sure there are lotsa suggestions waiting to be typed out for the character classes. =) So come on people, lets tell Raf our favorite character classes, and what we want those classes to do. Maybe we can give them some good ideas =)
>>> My favorite class to play I think would have to be a Cleric. =) I love helping people. I am a true "Bleeding Heart" as they call them ;P hehe Clerics I think should be able to heal, and possibly Ressurect at high levels (Monsters, NPC's, other Players) =) They should also be able to knock some major stuffin out of Undead ;P However any "Demon" type Mob's/Npc's should have bonuses against Clerics, and they should be restricted to armor and weaponry.<<<< My 2 cents =)

Hi Lady Eternity,
Arx is not a 'Class driven' game. Therefore, when you start the game you choose a 'path' which will determine what kind of skills will be easier for you to increase when passing a level. So, you have the choice between playing a thief / warrior / mage orientated character. But keep in mind that choosing a mage doesn't stops you from wearing armors for example. With Arx, we wanted to highlight only the really important skills and actions, rather than listing an impressive list of skills and stats that are 'supposingly' suported but that are actually never used in the game. I must add that if we were designing a MMORPG, we would definitely go for the ton of class / skills type of character creation.

WOOT! =) That is excellent. So we will be able to pretty much design our own "class" per-say. Sounds perfectly awsome.
