I would say that is petrified space bacon from the Schwein-schwanz nebula. They don;t use nitrates of nitrites there, so that is why it is grey brown instead of yellow and pinkish red.

For many artists, their best work is shit to themselves. They hate, or at least dislike what they produce, ever wondering why they cannot create the vision. It is terribly frustrating. I see real talent and cool things in this work. Not to everyone's taste and that is OK. But I am being extremely presumptuous claiming to know what he thinks of his own stuff. Sorry. I blurted. I enjoy his work. I get it and I bet I get it in a way he did not intend. That is what makes art so special and great.

No you have the right idea. I don't hate my work, but like you said, it isn't what I envision. And it
is frustrating, taking baby steps in figuring out how to execute that vision, especially when time is so limited. My recent piece "Welcome back to the real" I consider a step forward toward that vision, however. That makes it all the more assuring to me that qolelis responded favorably to it.
