Just run around the level and gather loot, looking under every chair and over every arch. It took me almost 2 hours to get those 7k. And except for that
banner over the water , nothing is actually hidden. A coin here, a diamond there. Just methodically search every corner.

mission complete on expert 7250-7751,,11/12 pockets picked, i got no idea who i missed as i went back to check them all,,1.30 min to complete
great first mission
a tip for more loot in the mansion there is 2 angel statues on each side of room one on right has a switch in its back to open a secret room with some loot and a fire in center, i think that room alone for me 300 loot
very nice for a first mission

For the readables, yes, they were intentionally cryptic, but I was also trying not to be a jerk and just have a tiny ring hidden with no clue. (But no doubt I went too far in either direction.) If you have any feedback, I'm happy to try and adjust if possible for others. I also tried to leave some imagination open in the plot. I go to both frustrations when playing other FMs. I feel they either explain too much or not enough. No doubt I missed the mark, but the intention was to lead but not explain.
For the statues:
The guard's note indicates he hasn't found anything. It's really meant to direct you to the house with torches not lit, which in turn leads you to the mansion key where all the people are disappearing to. But the other statue has an objective, and the statues in the mansion have some goodies, so it is meant to help push you in the right direction and keep looking. For the library readable:
It is meant quite literally. Look around for things in that room that match the note. Again, I hate spam frobbing, so was trying to nudge eyes in the right direction for tiny loot. I would much rather people see it and feel the satisfaction of finding it, then getting lucky clicking a bunch (I've done both myself in playing FMs)bjack on 31/7/2025 at 21:13
Fun FM, but some of the loot is crazy hidden. I have 6925 on expert, so I can't leave yet. Please tell me if the retracted stone steps in the lava area push out once I get 7000+, or do I have to find a switch to be able to climb down? I have climbed up arches, statues, rafters, furniture, rooms, used ropes, snagged loot from behind most everything, and yet I am still short. I've also opened up alternate pathways from area to area. The mansion is cleaned out, as is its basement and even the loot in the big H over the fight pit
My guess is I may be missing 2 things:
I might have not found the ring in the mansion
I do not understand the feather puzzle.
However, I may have solved these on my own anyway. I have no idea. A clue or outright spoiler for the lost ring and light as a feather clue would be appreciated. I can then go look to see if I already got them. I just need a measly 75 loot! :joke:

I can't help with the feather riddle, I didn't decode it
I think I found a ring on the top of a short column at the bottom of the pit with a grill above it, which emerges in an apartment near the exit door. That may have been the ring mentioned in the readable, but it wasn't made clear.
The exit stairwell ledges do not automatically extend. You need to shoot a fire arrow at the lever beside the lava pit, that will extend them. There's a fire arrow in one of the torches in the passage that leads to the ledges.

I think I already got the ring. I was so worn out looking for loot that I didn't try a fire arrow (blaster? Kaboom?) at the end. Then again on second thought, I may have missed that ring. Thank you for that tip.
