Havenhold's Retirement is the first mission from an author named
Hucklebarry, posted over on the Dromed Discord. They had this to say about it:
"My first FM is intended to be a loot hunt with a little ambiance and story. Hopefully, it's enjoyable to some. I feel I should add that I'm not the master architect some of you are, so this will feel like more old-school and boxy Thief (and is a Thief Gold mission)."
Mission Summary (from the readme):
It is time to retire. You have a simple job planned for this evening. Your last! No more plot twists, no more saving the world, no more gods or maniacs getting in the way. You found the quaint town of Havenhold for just such an occassion. It's so quaint that when people go to settle down there, they stay. But you aren't going for the hospitality. Your eyes are on their wealth. They are so rich, they put it on display. This will be your last score. It couldn't be easier. Rob them blind and leave. Rumors did mention that traffic only flows one way through the town, so after making the rest of your life comfortable, you will need to find an exit as it wouldn't be fun to retire in the place you just emptied.
Tested with AngelLoader.

I fucking hate this forum engine. A long, nicely written post is gone.
Ok, still some important questions:
Statue with a guard. I have found another statue in the building but I feel like it isn't it.
Is there something water-related?
A riddle in the library?
Some clues?

I'm playing on Expert, and can answer the water-related question.
Above the stretch of water on Huck Lane is a banner, behind which is a lever. It seems to open a small panel on the bottom of the water, in which is a lockbox with a long lockpick time.
I haven't found anything exciting in the library. I find the readables a bit garbled, so any clues they contain are almost impossible to decipher, but perhaps that is intentional.
I'm stuck on 6875 loot, seem to have been everywhere, even got some loot from a fallen statue in the lava area near the exit, so I can't leave.

I get even less. Something about 62xx. And that lava couldn't burn wooden crates :)

I eventually pushed the loot up to 7176 so was able to finish, but there's still some 600 unaccounted for according to the Stats page.

Anything secret-like?
Marbrien on 31/7/2025 at 16:24
Not really. Some of it I got by blind frobbing.
There are a few readables talking about fire and rope, but not in a way that I found helpful. With fire arrows I lit the two unlit torches in the apartment area with the two statues facing each other, one of those two torches was on the ground. But it didn't seem to do anything.
