There must be something wrong in my TG, because I only get the plain old Down in the Bonehoard mission.
I just wrote that because you seem to be sure you are playing the original Bonehoard mission.
Rename (change the name, right mouse button on file ->Rename) MISS4 in the main Thief folder to zzzMISS4 or any other name you prefer. In that case you won´t be able to play the original mission that you say you get. You´ll get a load error.
What happens now if you try to play Up in the Bonehoard.
If your installation was OK you would be able to play it.
I just meant that.

@bassoferrol I know how to rename a file :) Anyway, after renaming MISS4 I got a "load error" message: this proves that I am actually playing the original Down in the Bonehoard mission. Furthermore, if I try to play a new game, TG simply crashes.

Delete DarkLoader. Reinstall it. Start from scratch.
Anyways, I think you´d be better off with FMSel.

Really enjoyed this new spin on my favorite TDP/G mission! Although navigating the terrain could get frustrating at times, since I'm one of those people who likes to finish missions without taking any damage.
I was nearly at the Halls of Echoing Repose before I realized that the rope arrows from the bow upgrade could attach to rock textures. So many crates...
By the way, did anyone manage to find all the loot on Normal? I remember in the original mission, on Normal, there was a tiara on a statue near the Bonehoard's exit. I found the respective statue in this mission, but the tiara wasn't there. I found everything else, though (2140/2265).

Do I have to go through the "fix" of manually forcing NewDarkLoader to register this FM as a T1 FM, or does that only apply to DarkLoader?

No, but With NewDarkLoader you need to have T1 and T2 FMs in separate folders*. You extract the NewDarkLoader files into each game's installation folder. The game's exe file calls its respective copy of NewDarkLoader, from which you then tell the game to play an FM or the original game.
*Or keep them together and use custom Tags and the Filtering system for each NDL installation.

Thx for the quick reply. I somehow placed this message in the wrong thread. I meant to place it in the thread about Chalice Of Souls. But that shouldn't change anything. The answer would be the same.

This inverted version of the classic Bonehoard level is very creative, certainly one of the more unusual levels for Thief Gold. My favorite part is the Alarus Extension: It looks beautiful and was fun to explore. The puzzle in it is not overly complicated, which is always a plus.
A criticism I have is the mission does not tell you the bow upgrade makes rope arrows stick to walls. I got stuck in the Alarus Extension and had to consult this thread because I did not know that.
I also needed fortuni's excellent walkthrough when I could not find the Horn of Quintus. I simply missed the entrance in the Bonehoard to the Burrick tunnels that lead to the horn. After spending more than an hour climbing through the towers, I stopped having fun and consulted for Athalle's map in the walkthrough.
Finished in 2 hours on Normal with 1315 of 2265 total loot.
