Fun mission, once I found the means of navigation. Finished and missing about 1000 loot. Trying to hunt for more.
What am I to do with the ground cover in front of the fox head?

The ground cover in front of the fox head: first you need to get into the shed and find an appropriate tool there.
The fairy bell: the Rare Creatures of the Maw book has a clue on what to use it for.

For the map: it’s a two-step puzzle. First, check the giant mushroom area and then the apebeast area near the mission start.

How can I upgrade manually to newdark 1.28?, Y installed it with Rouguepatcher, but it messed up visually my configuration.

1.5 version is out. If you've struggled with the first version, now you will find progression easier - especially thanks to more sources of light and clearer puzzle hints. There are also various tweaks that should make the mission better and more atmospheric.
Here is a list of main changes:
- Many additional sources of light to illuminate crucial paths. Three new types of mushrooms.
- New readables.
- The map is now a bit easier to find.
- Most puzzles in the mission are now a bit easier to solve as well.
- A new randomised event with a green skull.
- The reward for finding all the acorns is now more useful.
- Added a few more pieces of loot.
- AI pathing adjustments.
- New bird sounds.
- Minor bug fixes.

Very very good mission. I'm playing version 1.5 on Maestro and Easy difficulty. I found 4070 loot. How can I open the locked brown chest with 80 loot in the purple key area? Where can the missing 1 item with 100 loot be? Is the statuette useful or is it just a trap?
