Played this mission two times on 'normal' and 'expert' difficulty. I had really fun playing this one, the city viewed from below looks bigger that it actually is, also the slight flickering from the lights coming from windows gives this nice illusion that its houses are far away. The starry sky provides a relaxing atmosphere to the streets. Exploring the city and its secrets was very enjoyable for me. The buildings architecturally are not that impressive but they are well built. Gameplay and atmosphere are the strongest points of this mission in my opinion. Also some readables offer a pleasant reading.
Overall a high quality mission. Thank you so much !

Just finished this one, ghosted on expert as usual, right after playing your first two releases. It is a pretty solid FM, I had fun playing it !
+++ :
- I like how you deal with environmental storytelling. It's a very powerful way of telling stories.
- You have a very recognizable building signature, which is always good
- The skyline is amazing ! Very well designed city
- Story is great
--- :
- Biggest weakness for me, especially in such a large mission, is not having a map, even a very basic one would be great.
- Some parts of the city were feeling a bit empty
- For this FM as well as for your previous ones, I think loot is a bit redundant, and probably too high in volume. Moneyboxes on top of furniture are very common for example, or gold candlesticks as well
- For all of your missions as well, I think overall difficulty is too low. Places who are supposed to be tricky (because important in the story/objectives) are made very easy because of level design and shadows. For example, the creatures den could have been extremely scary and stressful, but these dark nooks everywhere made me feel safe all the time and I finished this part in less than 10mn
- Loot objective is too low on expert. Usually, TDP expert loot objectives were about 60-70% total, on this FM, it is slightly above 50%, that's too easy, especially considering how abondant loot is in your creations
I can see your missions are more and more ambitious, you're getting experienced, and I'm deeply into your story. I can't wait to play a sequel. Thanks for this release Plibb!

Can someone remind me how I enable smooth textures, I have never been a fan of pixelation in thief.

Go to the directory where the FM is installed, and edit the file "fm.cfg." Change "tex_filter_mode 0" to "tex_filter_mode 1"

Plibb,
This was quite the misssion. So many little details like " the broken swing" made it feel like a lived in place. It's great to look at and map layout that made ghosting super fun.
I had a fantasic time playing this. Phenomenal work IMHO! :thumb:
