Hmm :)
Or maybe the Empire goes to pieces in the power struggle after Uriel's death, and some Ebil Wyzard decides to take advantage of the lawlessness to steal the Holy Trinket of Glitziness and causes the rift to Oblivion... I just hope it's something at least partially original like Morrowind's plotline was.

Originally posted by RyushiBlade Ok, so I hate reviving topics that are more than a month past ther expiration date (just like eating yogurt of similar age.) But I was wondering why Kathode so rarely shows his face around here, and I arrived in this thread!
So it's been three months. Not too long, but I'm what you'd call impatient. Any more solid information you can tell us? From what was said the last time, everything was still a bit shakey.
Soooo busy! Right now we're working at a brisk pace with regards to how often our milestones come around. It keeps me quite busy since it's partially my responsibility to ensure we make them, both by helping set what the milestone will be, hounding people to get their work done in time, and checking and verifying that when people do put their work in the game it works properly and is as bug-free as possible.
Even working on all that (and other stuff), I still find time to surf forums a bit every day. I am on the official ES boards every day and I come here maybe once a week to check things out. There's not a lot I can comment on, though. Basically everything I can post about on forums boils down to "Yes we're doing something new. No, I can't talk about it. Yes, it's awesome. Unbelievable in fact. No, I don't know when we'll be talking about it publically. No you cannot visit the office. No you can't have my home phone number. Please stop clinging to my leg. Thank you."
Other then that, most of the questions I see on boards are basic Morrowind questions and to be honest, I haven't played Morrowind since around last December when Striker made me try out his mod :cheeky: (though I plan to put in some time when Wizard's Island and some of the other big mods come out). I haven't spent a single hour of my time at Bethesda working on anything related to any Morrowind SKU at all. I figure that our fans are much better equipped at handling those kinds of questions then I am :)
So that's where things stand at the moment. Hopefully our PR droids will decide that we can start blowing our own horns soon enough (though I wouldn't bet on it.. :erg:). Until then, keep on enjoying Morrowind and all the great mods that are coming out!

Sea of Destiny is out, so you might want to try that out. Wizards' Islands is almost done... it looks the better of all the bigger mods I've seen. Thanks for what info you could tell us, Kathode. And when you can tell us more, you better! :cheeky:

Yeah SoD is quite good. Wizards' Islands is looking like an early summer release according to their boards, but hopefully it will be worth the wait. Moon's Spawn 2 is probably my most anticipated, but haven't heard any news about it for quite some time.

I haven't played Sea of Destiny yet, so I can't say I am great judge in this. I agree that Wizard's Island looks to be one of the best Mods soon to release. I can't wait for it :D
...And pretty much what Ryushi said lol.

::::: I've tried the Sea of Destiny gold, and it messed up the mara shrine quest in the : Jeremy's Knights of tamriel part 6 plugin. Other than that it's pretty cool.
Yo devs, please make the npc's in your new game sexy and beautiful. Will save the modders quite a lot of work next time.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PS! The Better Heads mod has been released along with the Better Bodies 1.0 mod, but allthough the orcs heads are cool and the argonians are pretty, anyone who wants really beautiful faces to look at in Morrowind, would probably be better off keeping the goodlooking heads that Astarsis released. A lot of the heads in Better Heads are eh... slightly less sexy than Astarsis work. :ebil:

Bethesda sure doesn't fit the usual game company model. I guess they take a long break in between working on new titles, rather than the usual couple weeks off and then back to the meat grinder...
I was rather surprised that we didn't even get a teaser at E3...ah well.
