I can already imagine what an update might bring.
"Hello Josh! You are hereby promoted to Bonus Objective, effective immediately!" - "Huh? What??"

I never reached him, or the other one which I should have rescued. I gave up shortly after reaching the catacombs. The undead now have someone to play with, I guess.

Thank you very much MoD for all your hard work to bring us this! :thumb:
Finished in 3h 44 with 6733 and 3 secrets (had to look here for one of those!).
Loved the outdoor area with it's fantastic views. All areas were interesting, with plenty of content.
As others have said though, it was a bit of a maze which meant you get lost easily. The mansion seemed a little bizarre in places, with main walking routes through people's bedrooms!
I particularly had trouble navigating the catacombs and feel I must have missed bits, which is a shame as I like to visit everywhere.
At times, it felt like 3 separate missions; Factory/Mansion/Catacombs, which is no criticism, I liked the variety.
With the exception of the very atmospheric catacombs and it's traps, I found the mission a little easy, with rather fewer enemies than I was expecting.
All in all though, I enjoyed it and it is one I shall play again.
Thanks again.

It might not be a thing in modern homes, but in many medieval manor houses and castles it wasn't unusual for all rooms to overlap and border on each other. The main or sometimes only paths between rooms would often be through the places that members of the household slept, with only a couple of secluded rooms usually reserved for the lord and/or lady. The corridor, and domestic privacy in general, are comparatively modern features of living spaces.
Worth mentioning I think, given how many people have noticed the unconventional layout in this map.

Interesting. Didn't know that.

also in some deep lore, the baron is one of the most illusive characters in thief universe, from what i gathered he was kind of going out of fashion in the thief series as i heard his name a few times in conversations/books but nothing major about him, so it was very nice treat to be able to see one of his places but of course he was not there so i hope this series continues as i feel garrett and the baron should meet one day :)
maybe a visit to the barons winery is in order ,with massive amounts of healing fruits, my favorite year

If you want something major about the Baron, try Zontik's "Patriot". Near the end of the campaign, Garrett does not only see the Baron, but also gets to know what the Baron's role in the "Patriot" storyline is.

Master of Dromed,
Finished the mission tonight! I was astounded at the amount of rooms and attention to detail. It felt like A LOT of work went into this and I really was amazed at the outside area and how it looked so well put together for the complexity involved.
The mission reminded me of "Ascend The Dim Valley" for the "Labyrinth" style in a good way, that was an enjoyable aspect (if you are in the mood for that style) and I definitely appreciated it in the same way. While I did not have as much of a problem as some with the maze-like structure of the mansion (frequent map/compass use helped), there was an area on the second floor stairs that confused me because there were a lot of rooms coming off of it that were not on the map kind of in between floor 1 and 2. So that was a bit odd. I also agree with the sentiment that maybe there were TOO many rooms as it became tedious at some points.
Other than that, I think the most enjoyable part of this mission to me was my initial experience with the catacombs. You successfully brought back feelings of "Down In the Bonehoard" and that was really fun.... What wasn't fun, was missing Ballsy, searching or him all over, and then realizing I forgot him down there at the end and having to go through it all over again! LOL
Also, I had a quick save / game crash twice on the eastern side of the map when trying to quicksave out there. Not only did my quicksave get corrupt, but the hard save it was based on was corrupt. So I lost about 20 minutes of progress and had to redo some things so that was a bit frustrating.
Other than that, still a very good mission that quite the amazing architectural achievement. Thank you for your hard work making this very memorable mission!
