You're welcome! Yeah, the music for me it kind of translated in a different manner. One I can't really explain, tbh. External from the situation that was taking place in the house, the music contrasted that. I'm unsure if that was intended, but it for me worked nicely. The seriousness of the story shined, but the music gave some peculiar hope. Ah, that's another part I enjoyed, peeking out of the window at the city. Again, I can't explain the feeling it gave (or I can but it'd just be odd, lol) but it definitely wasn't what maybe you intended. I know that could be good or bad, like, maybe you wanted to portray that specific feeling, and want the player to catch it, but either way I feel like it was put together nicely. It had a serious tone with some peculiar nostalgic aura of a place I've never even been.

Thanks for the mission, Cardia!
Overall, I enjoyed it. Here's a bit of feedback, if you're interested.
The good:
* A refreshing modern theme.
* Great custom textures and models.
* Nice, clean scripting: all of the light switches worked; everything that should be frobbable was frobbable; objectives ticked off when they should; etc. I encountered no bugs.
* Good use of readables: enough to provide hints and outline the story, but not so much that I got sick of reading.
The bad:
* Some of the items were hidden a little too well. After an hour of searching the same few rooms, I got pretty bored and frustrated. (I'm usually not a big fan of item-hunt missions for precisely this reason.)
* The missions were a little cramped. Consider making rooms about about 30% bigger next time. (Granted, this is one of the trickiest things to get right in a mission.)
* Some containers were hard to frob. (This was a pretty minor issue, though.)
* In the second mission, there's a weird rectangular hole in the wall in the master bathroom, at the foot of the tub, toward the ceiling. (Totally not a big deal - it just made me wonder if there was something hidden up there.)
Did you create a similar item-hunt mission a while ago, also set in a modern house? It had a similar style, and I think the story involved a breakup with a girlfriend. I remember liking that one, too.

For those who prefer text walkthroughs, here you are.
This walkthrough was written for Expert difficulty. (Easy and Normal are the same; they just have fewer objectives.)
General notes:
* Read all of the readables you find - they contain hints.
* Bruno is Umbelina's son. His bedroom (in both missions) is the one with the black-and-white hip-hop poster.
* Item locations are given in general terms first, then in more specific terms, like this: "living room, under the couch, near the window". So, if you want gradual hints, highlight spoilers a little bit at a time.
Mission 1: Toxicated
* Objective: Remove whatever is causing the bad atmosphere.
To complete this objective, you must find six poison balls; locations are given below. (Note: You don't need to do anything with them - the poison itself is causing the hallucinations.)
* Master bedroom, behind the nightstand near the closet
* Main bathroom (near the bedrooms), behind the wooden shelves
* Foyer, behind small cabinet
* Dining/living room, between the large sideboard and the wall, on the left side
* Half-bath (next to the kitchen), behind the toilet
* Bruno's room, behind the chest of drawers with the clock and alien toy, on the left side
* Objective: Fix the damaged objects.
You'll need a specific tool to fix each object. The objects, tools, and their locations are listed below.
* Mirror in the main bathroom (the one with the tub): repair with the hammer (found in the upper left cabinet in the kitchen)
* Laptop in your bedroom: repair with the small screwdriver (found in the toolbox in the cabinet in Bruno's room)
* Water heater in the closet off the foyer: repair with the drain pipe (found in the bottom right kitchen cabinet)
* Electrical outlet in the dining/living room: repair with the big screwdriver (found behind the wicker basket in the laundry room)
* Dishwasher: repair with the wrench tool (found on the top shelf of the pantry)
* Light switch for main bathroom (the switch is located outside the bathroom): repair with the switchblade (found in the upper closet in your bedroom)
* Objective: Open Agostinho's safe.
To find the safe combination, you must find four sets of numbers on paintings throughout the house. Here's where they're located:
* Dining/living room, city painting (1486)
* Dining/living room, boat painting (2957)
* Bruno's room, mountain lake painting (3907)
* Room outside bedrooms, sunset painting (4216)
If you're still stuck after doing that, here's some help: the first number of each sequence tells you which position of the combination it corresponds to, and also which digit of the sequence to use. So, if the first number of a sequence is 2, then the second number of the sequence is the second number of the combination.
An outright spoiler: the code is 1906.
* Objective: Find your Rinialer pills.
They're in your bedroom (with the truck and skull paintings), under the bed, on the side near the window.
* Objective: Find your two-Euro coin.
It's in the dining/living room, under the sideboard with the photos and candles.
Mission 2: Wired
* Objective: Remove spy microphones.
There are six of them. Here are their locations:
* Living/dining room, behind the big sideboard, on the left side
* Kitchen, behind the refrigerator
* Bruno's room, attached to the frame of the bed, at the foot of the bed against the wall
* Main bathroom (the one with the tub), behind the toilet
* Half-bath (the one attached to the master bedroom), on top of the white wall cabinet, on the left side
* Master bedroom, behind the small cabinet with the lamp
* Objective: Repair the damaged objects.
Hint: Read Pedro's diary (found on the nightstand in the master bedroom) for a list of the items that need to be repaired.
* Laptop on the dining table: repair with the Windows 7 DVD (found in the storage room, in the small closet above the door, in the briefcase)
* Electrical breaker box (in a closet in the hallway): repair with the big screwdriver (found in the large wardrobe in the master bedroom)
* Stove: repair with the electrical cable (found in the cabinet the main bathroom)
* Washing machine: repair with the wrench (found in the double-door closet in the hall)
* Shower knob in the main bathroom (the one with the tub): repair with the wrench tool (found on the top shelf in the pantry)
* DVD player in the dining/living room: repair with the small screwdriver (found in the bottom left kitchen cabinet)
* Objective: Find evidence against Agostinho.
First, you'll need to find the hair pin (in Bruno's room, in the small closet above the door, inside the chest).
Then, use it to pick open the toolbox in the cabinet in the storage room. You'll get Agostinho's diary.
* Objective: Find your Rinialer pills.
This time, they're in the kitchen, in the top right cabinet.
* Objective: Open the safe.
Hint: Read Umbelina's diary (on the bed in the master bedroom) for a hint about this puzzle.
Hint: Read Pedro's diary (found on the nightstand in the master bedroom) for some hints about where to find the numbers. (Note: if you encounter an unfamiliar term, be aware that "skirting board" is called "baseboard" in the United States.)
To solve this puzzle, you must find four numbers painted on floors and walls around the house. They can be very hard to see - turning on the lights might help.
* Storage room, to the right of the big cabinet, on the wall (1)
* Pantry, on the floor, under the snow shovel (2)
* Living/dining room, behind the small cabinet with the lamp, on the baseboard (3)
* Master bedroom, between the bed and the nightstand near the window, on the floor (4)
Once you've done that: look at the colors of the surfaces that the numbers are painted on, and press those buttons in sequence.
If you're still having trouble: so did I; matching the colors to the buttons is very tricky. So here's an outright spoiler: (1) bottom left; (2) top row, third column; (3) bottom right; (4) third row, first column.

Hi Greenie2600, thank you for playing this mission and many thanks for the complete walkthrough/ hints you wrotte.
Yes the rooms are tight, but that's because i wanted them to be exactly the same size , a similiar size to the real houses, both mission were made based in real houses, i made the item hunt hard because the maps are very small, so i thought that would be fair.
The black rectangular in the second mission in the bathroom is part of the real bathroom in reallife, its a airvent (probably with a missing fan)
Yes i did a similiar mission based from a real house of a Girfriend i had in 2014, but the house i built is not entirely equal as the real house, i made the mission after the breakup and i had no longer access to her house, so i had to use my memory to build the rooms and part of the furniture, but most of the textures were not photographed from her house that´s why playres can see thief 2 doors and other items in "Ana's Secret" mission. But in Umbelina's mission at least 90 % of what you see is exactly the same as in real life, except most of the objects found in the kitchens.

Neat! I once made a similar level for Unreal Tournament 2004, based on measurements of my office (but scaled up, so the players were action-figure-sized, leaping from desk to desk). (My coworkers and I used to play UT2004 almost daily.)

:D i have played some quake 3 fan maps based on real rooms i guess, where players/bots had the size of toys surrounded by a huge kitchen, a huge bathroom, a huge garden and much more on a higher scale. Where can i find your map?

It's lost to the mists of time, sadly :(
