All right, I give- I've found, as far as I can tell, every area except the sewer elevator described up the page. I believe its position roughly aligns with the area behind a closed door on the ground floor of the cardinals' residence, although it might alternately match the area below the inn. Where should I be looking for a hidden switch?

Thanks, that was the push I needed! I was too used to "small switch behind object," and I might have emptied an entire rack of bottles in my search. Finished with 6209, curious to learn what I missed; I feel like I found quite a large number of out-of-the-way items as it stands.

No, just place jgen.osm and jconvict.osm into Thief 2 folder. And please let me know if they exist in your Thief2\FMs\Cardinals_Sins folder as well.
If none of this works, see if you can run the mission through FMselector instead of Angel Loader.

don't have fmselector just angelloader but the above i tried and the files are also in the other folder.

If you have newdark I'm sure you have FMsel. Just open cam_mod.ini, go to this section:
; always start the FM Selector (if one is present)
;fm
Delete the semicolon in front of fm. Then save the file, and run Thief2.exe. It will probably ask you to tell it where your FMs folder is (where all the .zips are).

Congratulations, RP, and thank you for a very enjoyable mission :thumb: Great exploring, good gameplay and makes a nice change to play in daylight.
Finished on 7336 / 8873 having spent considerable time trying to track down well hidden missing loot - still 1500+ short :eek::p. Intrigued to find out where any big loot stashes may be! Looking forward to any planned future missions.
