Downwinder, the blue key is
for the workshop and I already had that one. For some reason I cannot get a screen shot of the door I am wondering about. The door is to the right of a big stack of large crates
one of which has loot. To the left of the crate stack is the door that
takes you upstairs to the head thief lair. The door on the right of the large stack of crates is locked and cannot be picked. You can see a very long tunnel past the door (looking through the barred door opening). At the end is a blue light.
That door is locked (there is no key) and it can ONLY be unlocked from the other side - Elsewhere in the map is a nicely hidden switch that opens the path to get to the other side of that door.

Thanks for that tip. I also zoomed in and can see that there is an elevator at the end of the hall.

sorry yes i can't find, because in this things i'm a dummy . i don't know, where i find the interface and so on.
Depending on graphics resolution, desktop font(s) size and possibly other factors (like 4:3/16:9 display, operating system (OS), OS version), the AngelLoader window may look really different from the screenshots in the documentation. The "Mods" tab may be placed off-screen or in a collapsed part of the menus, and one can't see it then without scrolling the menu parts back and forth. Some icons with pointers to the left /right should be the right ones to get to the "Mods" tab.

Since mod management can be a fairly important part of FM playing, maybe I should figure out some way to make the feature more obvious. The Mods tab is way over to the right (and possibly offscreen) simply because it was added later on. Maybe an option in the FM context menu that could bring the tab up?

Many of the loot caches are in what, in other missions, would have been classified as secrets (hidden locations with hard to find switches). In addition to the loot total, a secrets count can provide the player with a useful guide as to how many hidden places they have yet to find. This is undeniably a great FM, but I'm wondering whether there was a reason the author chose not to incude a secrets count?

Your the second person that wasn't able to open the sewer hatch, I wonder if that issue is separate from the failing start screen that is related to the no mods issue?
