Didn't work for me. Brand new install 1.27 with the original T2 CDs in a completely new path.
The FMSel (1.1.2) that I have doesn't have any options to shut off mods in the interface. I can change the path to the FMs, mark them complete, rank them, etc, but there are not options except to manually add an exclude mods path. Maybe I'll try adding in that path. However, you seem to be saying there should just be a way to select each mod and disable them. Maybe you are speaking of Angel Loader?
fmsel has a free text box that you can enter mods - or if you want a clean short cut just put an asterisk "*" in that box. it will disable all mods.

Thanks for that tip. I just fixed it by running the fix again and deselecting the "Enhancement Patch". The sky, water, and the other patches seem not to interfere with this FM. At least I've now got a working store screen. Cheers.

on the system that I do _NOT_ run angeloader on (this one i'm typing on now) I just use DMM.EXE in the thief2 folder to manage the mods (it's the same binary used for SystemShock2 as well) - it's kind of technical and is game-wide it's just easier on my angeloader machine image - I have _ALL_ the mods installed I just enable or disable them per FM easier that way.

I have Webroot SecureAnywhere CE24.3 on my system (Windows 10 installed on top of Windows 7). It claimed this download (Cardinals' Sins) had some kind of Win.32 malware in it. It claimed it successfully removed the malware.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

UPDATE: Good news - this problem did not happen with the V2 update.

start with the documentation for angeloader - link > (
https://fenphoenix.github.io/AngelLoader/doc/English/AngelLoader%20documentation.html)
there are 17 instances of the word "mods" on that page.

Great mission! I echo pwl's comments and had no issues using AngelLoader with a couple minor mods. I've run through it twice finding only a little over half the loot, so am wondering if there's a major area I missed, like maybe something more below the crypts as one readable hinted at?

In Angel Loader, upper right hand corner. Look for a tab that says *MODS* . Uncheck all the mods you have in your list. There is a separate tab to disable all mods. Try that.
