I'm completely stuck. I have the hand, the hammer, the mine and all four masks. When I get Mr. Periwinkle I get sent to where rat woman is and then I end up dead. What am I missing?

There is a scroll in the treebeast area that tells you how to deal with the pagan priestess. It is very close to the creepy gold skull lever used to open the nearby lava room.

Thanks. I read that one before but don't know what weapon to use. One weird thing is that when I went back to reread some of the readables they were all gone so I opened up the game file to read it. I shot moss arrows and a water arrow at the flying rats but that didn't do anything other than pop them. The pagan lady kept throwing them. Do I need to grab Mr. Periwinkle first or am I using the wrong weapons?

mxleader when you pick up a scroll it should stay in your inventory and then change names once they are read.

Use broadhead or the blackjack against the flying rats.

A nice and interesting mission, thanks to the owner/author. I have found 7 of 8 Secrets till now, the rest of the loot I have found completely. Only 50 Loot are still outstanding (the one missing secret) :-(.
I am searching and searching in the map, but I hadn't found it yet. It is a little bit depressing, but I hope, I will find the one Secret yet :-). Greetings from Germany.

Thanks Mattsolong! Have you checked in the underground area just east of the broken bridge? It's not really underground, but you would have to squat to get in there.

Finished! Arrows work best on the rats. I tried in vain to use the blackjack and died time after time. Maybe my computer has too much lag.

Thanks mxleader! It took me some time before I could time the hits with the blackjack. I had to swing slightly before when I thought I should so that both the blackjack and rat meet together. Garrett isn't exactly a major league baseball slugger! :laff:
