AFAIK, "Public scripts" are scripts mainly written by Telliamed. They were designed to do exactly what the original Gaylesaver scripts did, for the Gaylesaver versions had some copyright issues. The Public scripts found in T2Fix v1.27e may also have been changed a bit from Telliamed's sources by some other author I could not identify.
The Public scripts are not the same as the "tnhscripts" either, BTW.

Well I posted the solution already. :) Install NVScripts for Thief 2 into your Thief 2 folder, then restart the mission.

I had the issue with the pagan bomb refusing to go off.
I went to T2Fix, and asked it only to load scripts, and had it run. After I loaded scripts, I was able to go to the save and the pagan bomb went off, no problem so in at least some cases, restarting the mission is not necessary.
Nice mission.

Thanks prjames! I was suggesting restarting the mission because other events depend on the scripts as well. :)
