i stuck down in the lava area
i'm standing on the last podest.
and there is a inscription like this
whithout a hammer there is no further way.
but where is this hammer?

I can see the water crystal but I do not see how to get it. tried shooting it down (obviously did not work) but thought good idea, don't see where I can climb with my old eyes and my back is protesting possibly rappelling somewhere, knew I should have brought a trampoline. ;) - got the water crystal, now the last one I do not see (unless in first tower on the top where the blue light shines) the air crystal..for that I do need a hint please

Your thinking is right for the
Air Icon, - just a bit of jumping between inner and outer walls should do it.

I found a bit of rubble in a nearby lava cave that you could use to get a bit of height.

thanks I climbed and brought some carabiners which worked -- did well until I had to place the mine in the place and once placed how can I explode my way through? There is no countdown of 5 seconds as mentioned

I see you still have the mine. I tried to prevent the player from getting past certain locations, but somehow someone always manages to find a way I didn't anticipate. :p

You won't see any countdown, but there is a 5 second delay before the explosion occurs.
Bob_doe_nz there is also a
boulder that is located closer to the waterfall. You can use it on something else as well.

Sorry, but the explosion does not occur at all for me: everytime the boulder highlights, I place the mine and wait >>> seconds/minutes and nothing.
Up to here it was all ok and this is the first thing I noticed that prevents me from going forward.
