So far, excellent mission, lots of fun. Love all the Christmas movie references, even Hans Gruber was included! I've completed most of the mission, but I cannot find Dewdrop to complete one of the good deeds. Any hints to the location would be appreciated. Thanks!
Very glad you're enjoying the mission and the references! To find Dewdrop,
go into the city watch guard's quarters and climb the ladder to the attic. Go out the shuttered window and you will see some short beams in front of you that you can step onto. Turn to the right and jump from beam to beam until you reach another window with shutters you can open. It's just two jumps but it can be tricky : )

All right I made a list of the fruit cake locations:
...
Does anyone know where the last one is?
You are missing two, actually. One of them is
above the roof of the clock store, next to the jewelry store. The fruitcake in the tavern fireplace is not Tim's fruitcake, but simply one of the other 10. Tim's fruitcake is on his bed. You will need that too.

-is it possible to get into the ice garden?
-what does the highlighted apartment name plate do? Do I need a key or sth.?
To enter the ice garden, you must complete four good deeds. They are:
1. Fill the stocking on the fireplace at the widow's house, the cook you hired
2. Take some ale to the city watch station and place it on the counter in the hallway. If you do this without knocking people out you may find it more enjoyable
3. Find a letter to put in that apartment mailbox, the name plate you mentioned. It can be found in a small room accessed via a shuttered window on a rooftop. You can see it from the bridge if you look toward the tavern. After reading the letter there, be sure to pick up the envelope on the desk
4. There is a tavern patron sleeping on the floor downstairs, put him to bed

Thank you so much for this wonderful Christmas gift!
As someone who has a hard time getting into the holiday's mood, this beauty really did the job. So many heartwarming stories (as well as some funny and bizarre ones), great atmosphere and music, rewarding exploration, involving to do's.. this mission had it all. Bravo!
Thanks again and Merry Christmas, Taffers!

Where to begin with this. In short, this will go down as a Christmas Classic. I love everything about this mission. You put so much thought and effort into this, I thank you Tannar. I had a blast, and some laughs. Your attention to detail, the posters, and one poster in the apothecary, oh!! I was taking it all in. The church scene, got me right in the feels. That doesn't happen very often. I can think of one other time, another FM did that for me. I just stood there, watched and smiled. It truly was nostalgic, and it felt special. The Christmas spirit. I loved it. Thank you for this gift to the community. The only thing left to do, is find 2 more fruit cakes. Thank you Tannar, and welcome back. :-)

Edit: I finished with
3967/4257 and all secrets (only with help though ;)). There are many really cool christmas fanmissions out there, but I gotta say this is by far the best one. It has everything: Rooftop climbing, tasks to do, people to help... and it gives you the real fluffy, cuddly christmas feeling! :D Loved this so much and I´m pretty sure I´ll play it every year now around christmas:angel:

Having fun with the FM. I want to say that I'm one of those few souls that actually likes fruit cake, especially if soaked in rum. :cheeky:
I'm taking my time with this FM. It seems well worth a slow approach. I also enjoy that it's pretty logical so far. I like that I don't have to find things placed in areas that make zero sense. It would have been disappointing to find that the sugar plum was located at the bottom of a privy. :joke:
Merry Christmas!

Thank you, I'm very glad you enjoyed the mission so much! And I know exactly what you mean about the church scene because it has the same affect on me! We have Pukey Brunster to thank for that scene as it was all her doing, as were the posters, and I know she will be thrilled to hear how much you liked it. Good luck with the rest of the fruitcakes, we'll post a list of them soon.
