Unkillable cat: The caged light is surrounded by bars...almost like a railing, or something else vines could wrap around.
As for the safe, check all over the large library area.
Oh I misread your post maybe. The alchemist has another small "safe" in his room above the lab. The note on the door gives a hint.

Thanks for the hints, that got me up there, but that safe must be so small I get lost trying to find it.
Another question: The Keeper complex, the fourth tower. The one that has its windows barred. Can one get in there or not?

In the keeper area, in one of the front towers I can see a tiara through a crack in the floor, the window next to it is too small. Is there a way into this room?

Unkillable Cat: If you're referring to the tower that is on the northwest I believe...no way in whatsoever.
rustmite: There is a way in, but it requires finding some special items.
