Basement of the mages' fortress. Down past the geothermal mechanical cavern.

There's a bug I encountered. When I frob any of the statues the game crashes. In the deathgaze room when I frob them it crashes and then in the tomb area as well. Everything else work fine.

In the folder where the FM is installed, do you see a subfolder named "sq_scripts"? If it's there, do you see some files in it such as "statpuzzle.nut" or "VFrotatable.nut"?

Hi, yes I see them.

I have been unable to find the runestones. May I have a hint?

Stats:
* Normal difficulty
* 2 hours and 55 minutes
* 5119 of 9833 total loot
* found both the Water Talisman and the Fire Talisman
* 2 hints needed
Elements I liked:
* Great architecture, textures, lighting, and skyboxes.
* Varied environments (caves, crypts, lost city, Keepers, mages).
* Custom NPCs. The fire giant looks fantastic.
* Custom conversations between NPCs.
* Custom equipment.
* Some nice puzzles with reasonable difficulty. I especially enjoyed the one with King, Mage, Queen, and Knight. Felt clever when I managed to turn the second statue with a deadly gaze by exploding a Frogbeast next to it. That was not the intended solution, but it worked.
* Improved objects like barrels or flash bombs.
* Challenging loot placement, but no overly hard loot goal.
* Reasonable amount of locks that have to be picked and reasonable picking times.
Could be improved:
* Due to its size, the mission felt a bit exhausting towards the end. I spent a lot of time backtracking.
* It is one of those fan missions you couldn't put into a commercial video game because too many players would get confused and lost on what to do. I too needed hints to complete it on the easiest difficulty.
* The recording quality of the voice actor with the "Uuuh, the zombies are gonna get you!" line is a bit lacking, as is the recording quality of one of the Keepers in the conversation about the location of their Powerstone.
* Benny and Dewdrop feel played out to me. Their inclusion always reminds me I am playing a fan mission. They are a small immersion breaker.
Other observations:
* The usual legal disclaimer for fan missions is not present in the readme.
* Sarnoth is a callback to The Dark Project and also a Lovecraftian element.
Hints needed:
* Did not realize I had found what I needed for the library puzzle when I read the name on the plaque. I thought it was a mage's name like the others.
* Missed the chest with the Citrine Powerstone.

Seven and a half hours. (I am NOT one to whiz through a mission, obviously.)
Missed 3600 loot. HOW? Oh, well.
Some great ideas in this one. Quite beautiful use of textures, also.
Some diabolical touches, too. Nice.
A fine mission. Large with a lot of backtracking (at least for me), but no frustration as a result.
I quite enjoyed this one.
Keep them coming.

Just played this and it was a great experience. Colours, objects and layout are all excellent, but what I enjoyed most of all (as I do with most of your missions, RippedPhreak) is the AI patrols. I think you're one of the best authors (maybe the best?) in this aspect. Even in such a large mission with this with quite some backtracking, I didn't mind waiting for the fifth time for the correct time to cross a patrol.

Thanks. I believe my missions are the best when done with no knockouts - of course most players do KOs and that's fine too, but I think a lot of the tension and fun gets missed that way.
