check if you have
squirrel.osm in your main thief folder, alongside the thief exe. it ought to have been installed there as part of the NewDark patch, but some installations have put it into a subdirectory instead where the game cant find it to load the scripts.
NewDark 1.25, 1.26 and 1.27 each come with their own version of squirrel.osm; you need to ensure you have the version corresponding to the NewDark version you are running.

Cool mission so far.
The one thing that's strange to me is that the vine arrows don't seem to stick to things that seem like they should making some areas a one way trip.

Like what? I do recall that I forgot to make vines stick to the railings in the Keeper library but that doesn't make it a one-way trip.

Theres a ledge in the area filled with lava that has a pile of bones and a ring and I can't seem to get back up from there.

That area where I got stuck just seems like a random piece of loot and not a part of the main objectives

and then USE the other keeper stone from any location you will be teleported to the location of the dropped stone :cool:
SPOIL:
So if you drop the first stone on the ground, then descend to the random piece of loot, you can USE the second stone and you will be returned to the location of the first stone ....mxleader on 3/10/2023 at 22:08
