I dunno... It's a bit sad that people are ripping each other to shreds over a web page. There isn't much going on for ss2 so I say any little bit helps even if people think its total crap. In my opinion, it only adds to peoples discouragement in doing something great for ss2. The thief forums are much more respectable and polite. I think that adds to peoples willingness to give something back to the community rather than not doing anything because the ss2 community only seems interested in tearing people down.

If you'd bothered reading this whole thread, you'd have noted that the ripping in didn't kick off until the guy actually tried to defend what he'd created, blathering on about how he was a web designer, etc. This isn't kindergarten... if someone puts forth something terrible, we're not going to pat them on the head, say, "Awww, that's great!" and give them a banana sticker.
EDIT: And while the SS2 forums may not be the most active on TTLG, at least we're still getting more traffic than the Bioshock forums. Heh.
