deth I think you are over-reacting a bit, the OP was a fair one I think, but I dont think Brethren was shitting in it, he asked a reasonable question. I havent played any of the DS series (frankly cos it sounds way too hard) so I cant comment on the "LGS likeness" of the games, but you could tell us why you think it deserves its own forum apart from it being a popular game.

I don't give a crap about you guys dick swinging nonsense but I'll say this - I think there should be a Dark./Demons Souls forum and having played a small amount of Dark Souls I can confidently say that although its not an LGS type game it is just as much an LGS game as many others mentioned itt.
It's also hardcore and high quality and whatever else anyone thinks its the type of thing that appeals to gamers with taste, of which many of TTLG are.
So yes.

True, never played KF. I checked it out on youtube though, and it looks interesting. I'll have to locate a copy of The Ancient City and fire it up on the PS3.
Still, I have to say it - Kings' Field is in first person. Dark Souls is not. No, it doesn't mean everything, but it goes a long way if you're trying to compare these games to LGS games and/or similar immersive sims.
And to be clear, I'm not saying DS shouldn't have it's own forum here. My only argument was that it wasn't really in that Looking Glass/immersive sim category. Considering I haven't played it yet, I could be very wrong on that.
In the meantime, how about an argument for why it should have it's own forum here instead of just "it's popular." So is The Sims.
(and btw, who gives a shit what i think anyway).
