Ha, I already know a few of Christine's ideas for another sequel.
But all I can tell you is
nothing! Because I want to live a little bit longer, right Christine? :cheeky:
And furthermore - if I would tell you anything about it, Christine wouldn't put an assault rifle in the sequel. And Dinky can't live without her assault rifle, her favourite toy, her precioussss...
The assault rifle in the captain's bedroom was only for me... Now you know why I said: DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH MY ASSAULT RIF... ehrm BELONGINGS! :laff:
Great work Christine. At first I thought the SHODAN/bridge bit was going to be somewhat easy, but those blasts the giant SHODAN head fire are deadly. (stands all ready like too close to bridge doors as they open, weapon loaded, health full, and blam, gets hit right off and health drops by like HALF).
For not so much the next Nightwalker Upgrade/revision, but the next FM: easy plot hole I think to have SHODAN there: I don't remember anything in the plot about the crew fighting for control of the ship's communications gear (unlike SS1, SS2, or Ponterbee where destroying or shutting down certain comm-gear is a definite to-do).
To Review Her Narrow Escapes:
SS1 to SS2: she survives by having a node escape Citedel via a jettisoned recreational grove. In SS1 she tried to download to earth's internet, but the 4 communication transceivers were blown up by the hacker-hero.
SS2 to Ponterbee: she used the FTL warp drives to alter reality to infect a female human. Said female human simply plugged herself into a Ponterbee station terminal and blam, SHODAN uploads herself into the station computer and takes over.
Ponterbee to Nightwalker: she infected a Ponterbee station escape pod (the MANY hitchhike a ride off her with or without her knowing).
Nightwalker to _unnamed_ (next sequel): points to consider:
- just did an infected escape pod, so sneaking her on the hero's shuttle would be too obvious.
- Some form of FTL transmitted virus perhaps (would depend on Nightwalker's comm capacity/range). Usually her attempt to spread/escape this way is blocked, so maybe she succeeded this way this time.
- if not FTL or radio transmission, perhaps by some form of automated mail pod? (some sci-fi's use these. In place of radio, mail is stored electronically in an un-manned automated pod similar to but much smaller than an escape pod. In some sci-fi's the pods are so numerous and automated that one can easily be hacked and fired off without any of the crew even knowing it).
Common people, lets here an idea or opinion! Our electronic goddess (no, not SHODAN, I mean the SS-FM making goddess, Christine) needs possitive feedback (and maybe a few ideas) or we might not get another SS-FM from her!

Thats actually a very good observation made. Given that the takeover was so sudden perhaps thats one of the first things she did, just to be safe and all. Then again what about the colony itself?
*grin*
C'mon who wouldn't like a terrifying romp through a derilict colony rebuilt by a deranged AI bent on universal conquest? It'd be FUN.

I thought her bed was too empty ;) I wanted a (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pumuckl) Pumuckl and Ar-Zimrathon try to make it, but the polygons were much too hight for the Dark Engine, so Ar-Zimrathon had the idea to make ernie.... :cheeky:

You ended that sentence in a funny way; all the things you said and then it ends with FUN. Heh. :p

What's wrong with Ernie and Burgers and in addition an assault rifle?
Something to hug, something to eat and something to play... that's all a sensible lady needs (at least in the future)! :cheeky:

Well, you have to admit that 10 - 12 burgers is a lot of food. :p
(I'd not have a problem with it if I had that many in the fridge myself...)

:cheeky:
If you knew how many burgers I can eat when I wake up hungry at night... :eww:
But now I better stop because I'm really off-topic...
