That's funny, I didn't even give it a second thought. But we all knew what you were talking about.

The trap on ops was very well done and very Shodan-ish. I was expecting some kindof boss battle or something though. Or even a "shodan" level of some sort. The reactors showed what was possible. A level filled with stuff like that would have been amazing.
More Shodan and less many was a good experience anyways. More along the lines of what I wanted in ss2 all along. Now if only someone would go and make those bots that were originally going to be in the game. That huge bot with the tv screen in the middle of it looked cool as.
Agreed on the mall level. There was a few areas that were 100% identical to the areas in the original. Alot of challenging bot battles there though which was good.
Loved the cinema. Remember thinking to myself when I walked in there "this should have been in ss2". Only downside to that bit was that there was no camera opening bit in the 2 rooms. If you walk into the 2 cinemas you`ll see what I mean. So essentially the movies are being screened from nowhere, or a VERY large tv screen.

No, there's a projector. It's just a little high up and hard to see.
But given the level of tech in SS2, projectors must be extremely obsolete. That should be a giant holocube instead of a primitive flat screen.

Well.....
More mindless praise, a report of.....something strange, and a bug report.
First of all, the movie theater.....When Shodan suddenly popped onto the screen and talked to me..... I haven't been that scared since I first played SS2! I expected some Mini-Shodan's to come after me like they did on Hydro (or was it Ops?), but I had the Assault Rifle, so I was prepared, unlike the aforementioned assault during which I was quickly killed. :erg:
The Garden was cool too, Garrett's stash was well hidden, and the Saurians actually scared me when I saw them walking around.Speaking of Garrett, congrats on using your resources! I was very pleased when I heard a Keeper of the Prophecies on the recording! :thumb: Who was that? SlyFoxx?
Now, onto the Twilight Zone..... :erg:
(I'm Spoiler tagging this in case this is an Easter Egg)
While I was in the Garden, I noticed that there were some fish in one of the ponds, so I jumped in to grab some sushi. I killed and ate all of the fish, except for one green fish. He seemed to constantly evade my rapier, and after several minutes of chasing, he swam to the surface so that his head was sticking out of the water at an angle and started swimming around like that paying no attention to me anymore. After a while, he then started bobbing up and down in the water like a dolphin! He would go straight under, then come straight up until only his tail was in the water, then go back down again, and all this while he was moving around the pool. I finally gave up on the demon fish, but thought I'd tell you about this. It seems a little too weird to be unintentional, though. :erm:
And, finally, the bug report. In the first pool in the Garden, the orange fish swam, and continues to swim, straight down into the floor, where his head disappears. Also, a green fish in that same pool has the tail half of his body stuck in one of the walls of the pool.
Excellent stuff! Now I just have to find the other two Reactor Controls.....

The garden
Yes, SlyFoxx did Garrett's voice
:thumb:
I'll take a look at the fishes again, the fishes are sometimes acting strange. I never had those problems with the fishes in Thief 2, maybe it's because the 'pathable water' option isn't in SystemShock 2  ...and I'll take a look at the mall. :)

On the colony, about to enter the Crew Quarters.....*shudder*
[EDIT]
Finished! I just completed this excellent campaign! Christine, you should be proud. This is a most excellent SS2 expansion, and you deserve all the praise you get! Especially having cranked out something this good with an editor as buggy and tempremental as ShockED. *pats Christine on the back and shakes her hand vigorously* A job well done! *gives Christine some hot chocolate* :cheeky: :thumb:
Oh, and one more thing:

I´m at hydro now and it´s really excellent.
One thing worries me though: In the readme it tells you to make a backup of rec2.mis, but the actual file in the zip is rec3.mis. Doesn´t that mean that rec3.mis gets overridden?
Well having to reinstall sshock2 is well worth this Expansion pack anyway :) .

You don't have to re-install if you accidentally overwrite a mis file without making a backup. Just copy the file off of your SS2 CD.
BTW, Christine, did I sense some hostility toward Windows XP in one of those logs? ;)
Oh, and I loved
Xerxes Elvis imitation. :laff: :thumb: Enchantermon

True, the readme is wrong in that point.
But you won't have to reinstall. Just copy the original rec3.mis file from your SS2-cd.
EDIT: Ah, the Enchantermon beat me to it.
