It's not bad, gameplay is pretty good, but there are a lot of weird little things.
Why are there things (hypos/implants) inside thermoses, who's function is to keep hot liquid warm?
Dinksmallwood on 10/9/2005 at 20:25
Never heard of bullying at work? :cheeky:
Or perhaps to survive this desaster some of the workers just tried to hide some hypos from their co-workers. In extreme cases people use to react very self-serving... :ebil:
Or another idea: Perhaps this thermoses indeed keep the hypos warm... Have you ever get a cold injection from your doctor? Then you know why they heat them on Ponterbee Station... :cheeky:

Well done! I am having a great time playing this. Nice and long, good plot and nice new touches. :thumb:
Just having a problem in
the officers quarters, I set up the beacon and several Shodans come at me and I am unable to survive them
. Hints?

That one's a tricky little bastard to survive. Either find the resurrection station and activate it, or get the most high powered weapon you have to use on them. I used the assault rifle on full auto. Hide in a dark corner of the room, wait for a Shodan to step into the doorway, then grab the trigger and hang on for dear life.

I`m stuck on the colony level.
I found a dead power cell and powered that up but cant find anywhere to use it. Secondly I cant find the access codes to crew and command sections.
Absolutely loving the expansion so far. And I love the easter eggs to be found in the game
Al Bundy logs and the rubber ducky rooms I`ve found so far
. I also love all the new monsters. So good to finally take on a new kinda enemy in ss2.
Good use of humour throughout and I liked the new shodan voice.
[edit]
Nevermind I found the codes :).

Here's a few hints that should hopefully help you on your way. :) Hopefully they're clear enough. :erm:
Gentle nudge -- you're going to need to find a hidden passageway somewhere inside the colony buildings.
More specifically -- it's in the first building, not far from where you arrived. Show extreme violence towards ducts.
Exact directions -- return to the shuttle bay. When you leave it, there is a shuttle bay sign on the floor, and a body not far from a wrench lying to the left of it. Head left towards that body, and when you reach the end of the hallway, hang a right, and go into the door at the end of the hall. Smash up the ducts in the corner of the room.
Once you get into the new area, you oughta be on your way. I got stuck there too. :)

Thermoses are also used for keeping cold things cool. They work both ways.

Hmm this is odd. The last things I did was to find the codes so I could
redirect reactor control
, once I did that I haven't received any more objectives on any of the decks. Don't know if this is enough information, but anyone got a clue on what to do know?

Kaleid - go to
the shuttle bays on the engineering deck. There is a double door which was blocked by security lockdown, it's open now.
Kaleid on 11/9/2005 at 12:47
Yes of course. How could I have forgotten that? Thanks :thumb:
