And after some comments here, I fear the sequel will only have 'Voiceoutput-mailfunction"-sounds, because nobody want to do voiceacting again. :(
Not everybody. ;) I have a lot of fun voice acting, and I'd rather improve what was "from o.k. to downright terrible" than abandon it. (Which is probably a good attitude to keep for a little while, I'm voicing a whole new Thief character, so there's plenty of lines I could be asked to redo. :erm:) If you want, you can make one major female character and leave all the logs to me. I'd have a blast with them, even if they weren't up to par for some people. ;)

One major female character? I think you just forgot about me

 I didn't see your post. :erm: Sorry Sweetie.

Well actually, that's giving me ideas. Two female voices...there are quite a few things you can do with that. My two best friends and I once tried to "simulate" a typical SHODAN speech, but we realised that we started to sound like the many :weird:
To get somewhat near SHODAN, you need to have a real adult voice.
The german version sounds actually more mature than the english one, but then again, I always hear how other people think that our language sounds commanding and somewhat angry. Perfect for her Highness :cheeky:

You have female friends interested in computer games . . . :wot: I envy you. Hell, even if we could get a Many voice going, that could be interesting. :cheeky:

If I lower my voice a little, I can sound a little similiar to Terri Brosious' unaltered voice. Otherwise, I sound too damn young.

No offence, but in my experience, most Germans
are commanding and somewhat (often ranging to extremely) angry. My entire father's side of the family is German, and they fit the bill perfectly.
I wonder if we should be saying some Germans are insane as well?

Interesting and somewhat creepy. One of us was talking (me) whilst Corina and Veronika (my two friends) made giggling, laughing, crying and breathing noises in the background. Or repeated parts of my sentence. It was a great night, we were all high on sugar :cheeky:

I guess I sound way too young as well. I don't like to lower my voice, I find that kinda creepy when you listen to that. Terri is a bit older than you and me though ;)

I don't agree with that at all. The people arround me are all rather calm, patient and friendly. Not commanding, but we know how to get things done.
To us germans, Americans and Brits are somewhat psychotic and thick sometimes even though things make perfect sense. That's a cultural thing I guess
As for the insane bit....pssssht...don't look at me please :ebil:

That must've been . . . interesting. ;)

Ah, yes, I know that world well. So do those empty road sign posts, and that poor, innocent video camera. :cheeky:

Somehow, I don't find that all that surprising.

Well, that could explain things. My relatives had all lived in North America for 30 years by the time I was spawned. ;) Maybe the German goodness wore off?

:laff: Don't worry Sweetie, you didn't post a picture, I'm not looking at you. ;)

I'll have one more tea with my sugar and then I'll show you commanding and angry...just wait a sec, will you?
(I have to get into the role.)

Insane? Germans like me? :erg: :cheeky: :eww: How does this occur to you? :p :tsktsk: :weird: :)
(Dinky is going downstairs to the basement and is entering her private hidden chamber to torture some english speaking hostages for hours with her german accent. Pained screams of the victims resound through the whole house... )

Since when do you speak english? I've been told that I have no german accent whatsoever. Or just very very little. Apparently I'm supposed to have an american accent :erm:
So, Christine...do you have any use for TNT and me?
