I suppose a boss fight could have ended the game quite well but not like the original SS2 fight:rolleyes: :bored: - that was a joke.
The problem is, that I would need a boss for a boss fight ;)

A few of my DromEd "accidents" looked like that. It looks like your starting point is in space, rather than in the level's air brushes. Are you falling, or standing in place? You probably need a new copy of that .mis file.

I concur. Looks like the player is being given a start point that's outside the physical bounds of the map. This mission pack steamrolls a lot of the existing MIS files, so you have to be sure to let it overwrite everything when you install it.

What kind of things would you have liked to see in the Colony level? I thought it was quite imaginative to have an old Triop facility taken over by dinosaur like creatures:cheeky:
I thought the colony was a nice touch. However, the story of the campaign is underdeveloped, and therefore I couldn't experience the same feeling of accomplishment the original System Shock campaign on Citadel Station delivered. A lot of excellent commercial games suffer from underdeveloped stories, with the most recent example being Far Cry. What I enjoyed about the original System Shock games was a feeling of depth and involvement. Ponterbee station didn't quite accomplish this. And I pointed out why in my first post above.

You forgot something: this isn't a commercial Game, this is a Fanmission. There are no bunch of Storywriter and Leveldesigner. Story and Leveldesign was made by me, alone. If you don't like it, I'm sorry. But I'm not a professional Gamedesigner, I did it for fun. I spent a lot of time for Ponterbee Station, but I also have a real life.
This is just a Fanmission for SS2, not FarCry or SystemShock.

No kidding. I think an apology is in order here. :nono: Username, you might want to actually try to make a fan mission before saying stuff like that. Making a fan mission for Thief is hard enough; fan missions for System Shock 2 are nearly impossible. Christine did one hell of a job here, she's got a lot of talent and doesn't deserve to hear that. :tsktsk:

Christine, I apologize if my post gave you the impression I didn't appreciate the endless of hours you must have spent on creating Ponterbee station and the colony. As I pointed out before, the level design is excellent, sometimes even better than in the original game. But there are a few issues that detracted from the enjoyment I had when playing your campaign and I hope you will consider the points I made about story and voice acting if you decide to go back and polish what is already a fine example what a single talented person with a lot of dedication can accomplish.

It isn't so easy like you may think. It took Dinksmallwood more than 2 month to find enough voiceactors, get the files and put it in the right format. And after some comments here, I fear the sequel will only have 'Voiceoutput-mailfunction"-sounds, because nobody want to do voiceacting again. :(
It's all done by Fans, for free, there are no profi voiceactors with expensive hardware.

Well, if it comes to Voice Acting I can give it a try. I have no expert equipment as well, but that shouldn't be too bad because my room is quiet.
So, in case you need an arround 20 year old female voice, I'd be free to help.
