Whew! I'm not the only one having problems with Ponterbee MP
The Omega Theory on 26/10/2005 at 11:26
Okay, it's official then, Ponterbee Station pwns you in MP.

Again: It was never tested in Multiplayer. I can't test it via LAN or Internet.
And if there are problems, I can't do anything to fix it. Even the tutorial is no help with multiplayer problems. :(

Thank you so much for creating this excellent fan mission.
Game developers should hire you so you can help them make a good game.:thumb:

I had problems with loading levels with Ponterbee St in Windows XP. I restarted the game, and happily I have managed this time to complete it (single player) without the dreaded falling elevator bug that stopped me on my first try. If people are using XP, I suggest you keep multiple versions of your game saved and then you may not have to restart. And no, it wasn't a video codec problem - thanks for the idea though.
Its a great mod and congrats again to Christine! greatest moments:

Hey, don't look at these if you haven't finished the game !
The four robots bursting out at you in COMMAND.
Starting level - on a scale that showed this was a serious mod.
The shuttle hangar.
Starting the transmitter (and the next few minutes!)
Walking around the colony cargo bay surrounded by robots who weren't (for once) trying to kill me! Eerie.
And many many more.
[/SPOILER]
Superb!

Thank you :D
I'm not sure, if this is an XP problem. I never had this problem and I built and tested all the levels with using Windows XP.

I have very little to add to the thread as it stands, I would just like to thank Christine for the time and effort put into this fan mission, and for the enjoyment we've all gotten out of it. I've had a blast playing through it. It's reminding me just how fun this game was the first time I played it :).

Thanks Christine!...Will you take auditions for voice acting in your next SS2 mod?
Stardust on 9/11/2005 at 13:14

So far I am finding this mod quite enjoyable. The new Tommy Suarez voice is hilarious, lol.
