Wow...
Just...
Wow.
That was such an awesome FM... Thank you so much for all the hard work that must have gone into it (I played through it last night in one sitting... couldn't pull myself away :D )
BTW... somebody has good taste in movies (Christine - one of my favorite movies - though I suspect you picked it as a name cameo) and TV Shows (Stargate)

Hmm seems like a good enough time for me to make sure i have ss2 installed, i'll download it later, looks good and judging by some of the posts it should play well too :D

Finally got around to finishing it.
Very nice campaign, the only thing that got a bit frustrating was searching for the battery in the colony level.
Oh and it would have been nice if there had been some more psi amps in the later levels. I bought psi powers pretty late, but never found a psi amp and didn´t want to go back searching for one.
The difficulty was a bit on the easy side too (played on impossible), but I guess that comes from playing too much ss2 ;) .

I'm currently working on an update, I will put some psi amps more in the next Version. And more psi hypos :)

Just finished Ponterbee and had to say what an excellent piece of work it is!
Can't wait to see what you come up with next...

Just started playing this the other day. Brilliant mod! Thankyou. I can't imagine how many hours were spent designing the levels, they certainly look very nice and well polished. Nice to see a return of the thermos and storage cabinets from SS1 :)
I'm up to Ops so far, and I have come across one or two places where I got stuck (physically) - firstly, in one of the air ducts between the science and med areas on medsci, and secondly at the top of one of the lifts in the cargo bays (I forget which one). Not that I haven't managed to get stuck in places in SS2 before, but if someone wants me to test further I can do so.
BTW, I was in the environmental regulator room on hydro and I heard a hybrid outside the jammed door, so I let it see me through the gap and of course it rushed over to try and get me. It then got electrocuted by the sparking pipes and died. Haha :) So I muck around in that room for a bit and then I hear *another* hybrid outside, so I go to try the same thing. (I know, I'm a big meanie.) The second hybrid started getting zapped, but it was obviously a bit keener than the first one because somehow it managed to squeeze through into the room and whack me over the head with a lead pipe. Damn hybrids and their cheap moves. :D

You got stuck there, too? I think I managed to get out, but I can't remember how. I might have had to reload.

:laff: There is a hybrid on Hydro in SS2 that also has "The Power:" the ability to walk through jammed doors. Seems strange that one in Ponterbee would have it, too.

As far as I know, Dark engine AIs can walk through half opened doors. The hybrid on SS2's Hydro deck was walking through doors like that, maybe that's what was happening on Ponterbee Station as well?

Well, Thief 2 AI's can, but since SS2 is based off of a different version of the Dark Engine, I'm not so sure. Also, in Thief, AI's would have to be able to walk through half-opened doors, because if they couldn't, they would have to use an awkward Patrol Path to move around the door in order to avoid the swing. In SS2, however, doors slide, so it wouldn't be necessary to have this ability. It's possible that it was used for Thief 1 & 2, but removed for SS2.

I suppose it wouldn't be too hard to test whether it was, or not. Maybe replace a few jammed doors with shut, unopenable doors, and see what happens, or get some 'normal' hybrids and see whether they walk through jammed doors too. I might have to try that . . . later. :erm:
